Disc locks are designed so bolt cutters can't reach the shackle. We use drilling and cutting methods made for them, with care for the door and the latch.
We check your ID and coordinate with the facility office before anything is cut, so there's no question about whose unit it is.
Once the old lock is off, your unit is open. We can fit a new disc lock or padlock on the spot so you can lock up right away.
Some facilities want their staff present, and others need notice. We work within their rules, which keeps you in good standing with them.
Facility gates have their own hours and access codes. We plan the visit around them so nobody ends up stuck outside the gate.

Some combination padlocks can be decoded without damage. If yours can't, we remove it cleanly.
Inexpensive padlock keys are soft and break easily. We remove the lock along with the broken piece inside it.
Outdoor units in humid weather can rust a lock shut, and even the right key won't turn it. We cut or drill it off without damaging the hasp.
If you're handling a unit for a relative, the facility will tell you which documents it needs, such as letters of administration or a power of attorney. Once they approve, we remove the lock.
Let us know the facility name, your unit number and the type of lock on it. Call (301) 888-5152 or use the form.
You'll know the cost, including a new lock if you want one, before we drive over.
We meet you at the facility during its access hours. Bring your ID and your gate code, and the rental agreement if the facility asks for it.
Once the office confirms, we remove the lock by drilling or cutting, depending on the type, without harming the door latch.
We check that the door opens, closes and latches normally, and that the hasp still takes a lock.
We fit your new lock and hand you the keys, or leave the door ready for the lock you prefer.
